Home Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Our Home Group Philosophy at OBC

At Ottawa Bible Church, we believe that home groups are a powerful way to foster deep relationships and grow together in faith. These groups provide a meaningful way to connect with others both inside and outside our church family. We envision these gatherings as a key pathway for living life together throughout the week and strengthening our connection on Sunday mornings.

Home groups are led by an elder and a deacon, hosted in homes, and meet on various days throughout the week. Each group typically lasts about an hour and a half, with a sermon-based discussion for the upcoming Sunday sermon.

Our home groups run in short-term cycles to allow leaders time to rest and to provide space for special events like barbecues, game nights, and more.
